A possible resolution to the error message “cannot find resource.ini” is to check your datapath.ini files.
To check and amend these files, navigate to the folder where you have installed your Birchfield software, then locate the subfolder for your subject. For example, this will be named “PSHE LK” for PSHE Lesson Kits. Within this folder, locate the file “datapath.ini” and open it in a text editor. This file contains the address of the folder containing “resource.ini” (by default “Birchfield”). Please amend this address (and any others) to the full UNC path (ie \\server\Birchfield\). Save this text file, then copy it to each of your installed lesson folders (these are named BCDS00, followed by a three figure number then LK, IS or IL) the Lesson Builder folder and the AT folder.
When this is done, locate and open the “resource.ini” file (by default in the root of \\server\Birchfield\) and check that folder address for each title is the correct Network path (ie \\server\Birchfield\). Finally, save and rerun the software from a client machine.
