Safeguarding Auditor is a simple-to-use software solution that will enable your senior leadership and
management team to meet all safeguarding requirements whilst protecting your Ofsted inspection rating. The
software will allow you to measure your school's current status and find solutions for any gaps in provision
through accessing guidance, sample policies and protocols. Safeguarding Auditor also includes a comprehensive
tutorial to enable you to check your SCR content and ensure the format and your entries comply with inspection
requirements.

This section examines all policies, procedures and protocols related to Safeguarding practice.
This also includes induction and training processes

This section examines safeguarding provision and practice in place for vulnerable children in
relation to the revised October 2009 SEN framework.

This section examines Safer Recruitment practice.

This section examines the procedures for disseminating policy, procedures and protocols to

section is an audit of general policies with a common thread to Safeguarding e.g. Behaviour,
Care & Control, Intimate Care, Anti-Bullying, Medication & Equal Opportunities. Additionally
Health & Safety policies are measured. Race Equality is also examined with an audit of policy
and action planning, a mandatory requirement.

This section examines displays and information to support procedures for safe evacuation, child
missing/absconding and out of class protocols.

Risk Assessments
This section examines all aspects of risk assessment processes. This includes external and
internal site assessments together with specific activity risk assessments. Procedural risk
assessments are measured to examine practice. Educational visit risk assessment and measures in
place for extended services are also measured.

Curriculum
This section examines the content of the core and enhanced curriculum in relation to
Safeguarding.

SRE
This section specifically examines SRE in relation to Government office requirements.

School Development & Planning
This section examines all aspects of school development planning: long, medium and short term;
together with schools' SEF.

Extended Service Agreements
This section examines procedures in place to ensure contracted extended service provision meets
safeguarding requirements. The focus is on contractual arrangements and adherence to schools' policies/procedures.
