To fulfil the growing need for true content disaggregation and personalisation, we are launching a VLE Content Editor in the autumn, designed specifically for our learning platform content packs.
VLE Content Editor will allow teachers to utilise the extensive library of Birchfield's SCORM-compliant content to create truly bespoke lessons. Teachers will be able to:
- Select individual pages from Birchfield's content packs to edit, to modify the text and re-record the voiceovers;
- Build their own pages utilising external resources such as photos, flash and video files;
- Embed hyperlinks within the text to other Microsoft Office files or web pages;
- Create their own series of drag and drop, multiple choice and labelling exercises;
- Generate their own SCORM-compliant HTML pages, complete with basic tagging and a .zip file, for use in their chosen learning platform;
- Store the new bespoke content centrally but have the Content Editor run locally.
Priced at £1,499 (ex VAT), VLE Content Editor will only be available as an optional extra with any Birchfield whole school solution purchase.
